I'm going to tenerife in January for 3 weeks and need to answer my emails 1 or 2 times a day on my notebook. not sure if a can get free wifi so i will need to buy some type of dongle or something not sure which would be the best route. any ideas please.

Theres plenty of wifi hotspots in Tenerife so sure you'll find something at or outside, major hotels, Mcdonalds, etc.. I also use Vodafone 3G via a built in 3G card which works perfect. You can also buy cheap dongles over there IIRC from telfonica

Hope that helps

absolutely buy abroad payg dongles
bro in lawgot a 7meg bband vodafone dongle in italy for 25 euros a month 5hrs a day limit

I used my english Payg dongle in majorica this year and boy does it eat those minutes,it was £4 just to connect:mad:

Best way is to use a hotels wifi or buy a foreign dongle.

BTW some foreign servers wont let you send emails so get round it by using internet web based mail eg hotmail.

Agree. In Russia I'm using a Megafon 3G plug-in modem that costs me only £10 a month for unlimited use. Using a UK one would cost a fortune!
