Ipad2 and airprint

I have noticed that since updating to IOS6 the airprint facility doesnt work with the HP printer. The HP is uptodate with software. Is this a known problem or is there any solution. ??

Have tried google but no luck and others are having a similar problem.

I did say it might be a stupid question.... So hard to do much on the iPads etc... You could try backing it up then doing a full reset ...get the printing working again on the original OS and then trying to upgrade again... Beyond that all you can do is google ... Tough one mate..

My HP 6500 always struggles with Airprint. A power cycle usually sorts it but do this from the mains after powering down from printer.

Also hardwiring the printer alleviates some of the air print issues also.

Today we switched from BT Broadband to Plusnet. Using the new router supplied by Plusnet. It now works. Weird.

If it's working now weird, have you tried printing again weirlessly?

Doesn't surprise me honestly .... I have had issues with BT routers acting oddly and blocking some traffic around Apple TV ... Spoke to Apple and they told me there were issues with BT routers and Apple TV ... Checked a couple of Params and it worked.. Guessing plus net didnt have the same config..ergo it works and routes..
