iPhone XR and internet connection on Audio 20

Hi all. The wife has an Audio 20 in her 2018 CLA 180 AMG Line Edition.

Her iPhone XR successfully connected via BT and does everything it should. Plays audio, calls, etc.

For some reason I can't connect the internet to use the apps etc. On the Audio 20 unit. I am trying to connect it via Bluetooth sharing.

I did it on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and it was a doddle!

Anyone please advise?

I believe that rather than using bluetooth sharing, on the iPhone, you should just be going to the cars WiFi hotspot. On the Audio 20, activate the WiFi hotspot if it isn't already, then choose connect device to hotspot - this will display the password. Then over to the iPhone, WiFi section in settings and join the MB Hotspot.
