My daughter has just got an ipod which can play via 'aux' on the command through the 3.5mm jack located within the glove box of our 2003 W211. (The lead currently comes out of the 3.5mm earphone socket of the ipod).
Two questions:
Is it possible to view the tracks on the command, without buying any further kit? Does a dealer need to 'flash' it, or do I need a lead that runs from the multipin socket of the ipod into the 3.5mm socket in the car.
The sound quality is excellent, but it automatically starts playing at a lower volume, and the volume needs to be turned up on the ipod each time, can this be set to the same voulme as the other outputs? I couldn't see anything obvious on the 'aux' menu page.
Kind regards
Harvey
