Ipod integration

I have ipod integration on the new e class, what I want to do is route another mp4 player through this connection via RCA cables, is there such a thing as a converter to do this?

That's good wardpaa, but I think Chattonmill has an interface already.

I'm trying to learn how that interface presents itself and how he can add other devices

In the W211 all there is, is a small stereo jack point in the glove compartment.

That just does audio, I need video/picture as well.
I am not sure what the connector is, but I am assuming is is a normal Ipod interface, I just need a lead that will convert this to RCA.

I want to drag off the video from the stock ipod connector to the green Fakra on the tail of the Comand unit.

You will find many combos of lead for ipod / mpX players on there

I'm at the same situation, I have the OEM ipod interface, but I would like video now!
Is there any interface that can play video from ipod? Also the OEM interface don't show song names in the comand, I would like that also

I only found the dension 500 gateway, but I think it won't play video

Thats true because W209 was never facelifted to MY09 spec.

I dont know of any ipod interface for the W209 that does allow track names etc on the comand screen.

The only one I found was Dension 500 gateway.
