ipod interface part number clarification for w203

Please help. I am looking for an Ipod interface for my 2005 C-Class C320 (W203). Having done some research the only part number for one of these i can find is B6 782 4254

However, when i look on ebay all the ones that are supposedly ok for my car don't have the B6 782 4254 part number.

does anyone know if any of the following part numbers would be OK for my car?
B67824239
B67 082 4214
B6 782 42 25
B67824256

I strongly advise you to stick to the 4254 part as I install loads of these and thats the correct one for your car. Why are you looking on ebay for one?

Hi Alfie - thanks for your reply. Its odd about the part numbers as there seems to be so many describing the same thing, perhaps Mercedes can help? I find ebay a great source of components and i would rather buy a second hand one for half the price of a new one! simple economics i guess.

Hi

Buy the 4254 part. The older ones have various issues (such as not working properly with phone system) or not having volume settings
(or worse still, a batch of dodgy wiring looms that caused CANbus faults)

4239 is W211
4256 is discontinued USA kit

The others are not valid part numbers so may just be parts of a kit
