ipod intergration on 2004 (54) SLK 171 350

Hi just picked up the SLK 171 350 for the wife today few of questions please if any one can help.

Can a ipod nano be integrated into the MB Audio 20 head unit a CD changer has not been fitted.

Also what is the best way to get integrated Navigation into the car (not tom tom or garmin or any of the mounted devices).

Last one UHI i do not think it has the wiring but all the buttons are on the dash and on the head unit.

Steve / Wanda may be able to assist you in a whole new way.

I have been thinking about a fusion of the W203 2005 radio with the SLK face panel thus giving you W203 iPOD kit functions in a R171 SLK. I credit Steve with this idea.

I think Steve will have some radios in a few weeks. You may want to place an order in advance since these conversions with radio only are hard to get since the radio unit itself does not come onto the market all the often.

You also just BUY a W203 2005 radio for $700 Euro or so and have someone technical do the face plate swap. That would save you several thousand pounds.

Secondly, regarding the phone. Dont bother. There is a TRUE bluetooth solution coming out for the for all of the current Benzes later this year. Just use a BT ear piece for now.
