eBay do cable that will do the same job (minus remote though) for less than a tenner.

I'd be careful about using it in the front as it would be deemed illegal and point-worthy if used when mobile

Err, you have to have an AV input to start with for a normal ipod AV cable to be of any use...?

Yep, but doesn't the device from Jersey need the Comand to have the AV input?

If there is an AV input to Comand fitted to the vehicle then the cable can work... only with manual control rather than a remote.

I think the device the OP posted does not require you to have the TV tuner installed.

If it does, then as you said, better of just buying a cheap AV cable!

For the W211 you must have a head unit that has the video input otherwise its a waste of money. For the other types of comand APS you must have the green FAKRA connection on the back otherwise, again, a waste of money.
