iPod woes

I have a 05 C Class Sports Coupe with Audio 20, telephone pre wire and use the phone facility while driving. Just had an iPod interface kit supplied and fitted by my local MB dealership. IPod works fine :bannana: but now I have no phone . The dealer is looking into it, anyone out there had simillar problems?

That's a bit alarming .... they must have disconnected the phone wiring when plumbing in the iPod kit .. or its wired incorrectly ! Planning on having one fitted myself in a the next few months (alhthough not by MB ) so let us know what the outcome is.

The iPOD jumps inbetween the car harness and the radio. Most people forget to relocate the optical cable from the original location to the iPOD adapter connection. The goal here is to make sure that the optical cable always makes contact with the radio.

Just got the car back from the dealers - one of the cables wasn't in properly. All functioning correctly now.:bannana:
Still, got a CLK for the day.:bannana: :bannana:
