Is Ireland considered part of UK for the purpose of driving insurance, in other words is there a time limit driving there of 30 days or not?

Northern Ireland is one of the two constituent parts of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Republic of Ireland is as any other EU country and of course is no part of the UK in any sense.
