Irrelevant old lorry question

Irrelevant old lorry question!

I saw this yesterday ~ anyone got any idea how old it is?

Some clues in the picture.

Well the 0498 prefix is for Haltwhistle,in Northumberland and it was changed to 01498 on the 28th of April 2001 - when the 0498 prefix was then used surprisingly,by Vodaphone for its mobile network.I believe that BT introduced the new dialing code pre-fix from the 1st of August 1994 onwards - still do not know if this helps :confused:

In fact it never did. It was merged with other arears and eventually became 014343, which would map now to alston photography : Contact us which is on Rise Farm, Alston, just south of Haltwhistle (probably on that exchange).

01498 was never used.
 
I stand corrected.
