Is it possible to change the standard halogen headlights to the led headlights from the premium package?

didn’t notice headlights when buying the car but once you notice, you notice….

Are you asking if this option is available on the configurator pre-purchase?

Or have you already taken delivery of the car, and you are unhappy with the Halogen headlights?

Re the latter, there are cheap after-market conversions from Halogen to LED, but they are currently illegal in the UK (and an MOT fail).

It should be possible however to replace the Halogen headlamps with complete original (genuine MB) LED headlamps, and carry-out the wiring adaptation and the STAR coding for it, but this will obviously not be cheap.

www.comandonline.co.uk specialise in these sorts of conversions and retrofits, so you could talk to them, through they are in SE (M3 J3).

Yeah I meant after purchasing and changing the whole headlamp, thank you though I’ll look at that site, I’m not keen on just changing the bulbs,

I doubt that it will be cheap, let us know any quotes :)

Logically it will also need self leveling sensors etc fitted, I assume that the standard halogens have a manual wheel?

I am assuming that they would be intelligent in some way - LEDs allow changing of intensity in different parts in response to oncoming light (based on input from sensors).

I think they still need self levelling so the intelligent aspect knows/has the same starting point (if that makes sense!)

It wont be. Its thousands.
