Also, the loan car given to me has a slow air leak which was reported almost imediatly to the driver and to the service Centre- I was promised (Friday) I will get the tyre replaced when I wen I went down on Saturday to point out the issues , again to be told non in stock please come back Monday even though I told them I live in the center of London 1 hour away.

well at least , and this is in no way an attempt at being insensitive but there was this one chap who bought himself a lovely approved used c63 that was apparently the sales managers car and had only one owner. after taking over the car , it had various issues , looked like it had some prior damage and a raft of other issues.

the worst part, and i would like to paint a picture in your mind , imagine you are going through some random videos on the net only to see your wife (that you love dearly ) being royally bent over and screwed by lots of other people... ie she was once a porn star and had lots of male porn stars riding her in extreme ways... and there you thought she had only previously had one relationship ... basically it turns out this was the press car ! And had been featured on more than one video being ragged around various tracks being drifted and the Lord know what else .

For the sake of anyone else who has suffered at the hands of lying scumbag dealers , please make these scum bags pay

It’s back!

They have sorted the speakers, new front pads and discs and a engine ecu update as per report, will test in the morning when the engine is cold.
The advisor did say they adjusted the bonnet but I don’t see much of a difference.
I have just been to private garage and the machanic has had a good look and can not see any evidence of accidant repairs.

regarding the bonnet alignment, i have found two adjustable rubber knobs next to the bonnet catch which i have adjusted my self and now looks a lot better, does any one know what they are actually there for?

also, ,most CLS350s i look at on the adverts have the same issue with the bonnet alignment, am i missing something out?

So it makes a quality/softer sounding thump when the bonnet closes, and not a cheap/nasty clang. The adjustment will no doubt be to do what you just did. Glad it’s sorted. You got the satisfaction of sorting it out yourself too. Bonus!

This is how my car starts from Cold.
As you can see it starts around 1200 then drops to around 750 after 30 seconds

I think on the later models the engine starts and idles on 600rpms.
There is no change or judder on the rpms when I start my car, shakes but can’t figure out what, I don’t think it shows any error codes either that’s why the service Centre can’t pin point it.
Maybe it’s an engine mount or soemthing.
Anyway I have spoken to customer services and raised a formal complaint with a request for a rejection yesterday and they will get back to me 14 days.

The OM642 engine in my previous CLS did a bit of moving about especially when it was switched off.

Just for the record , my CLS idled at various speeds dependent on engine temp / ambient temp and battery charge and load but it always rested at 600 eventually once there was a bit of heat in the car and the battery was at its correct level of charge. When the battery was on its way out it took a while for the revs to settle as the car was trying to charge an older battery , with a new battery fitted it returned to 600rpm much sooner.

This morning after a little drizzle of rain, im walking through my car park and spot my car with some strange places where the rain is dry (front end looks dry). correct me if i am wrong but this tells me the car has had some respray done?
