Fairly rare 6.2 S212 E63. Looks good value to me, with the caveat that it's not obvious what the mileage or service history is!

It is only a bargain if you really want that sort of car ( I would love one! ) and if it is all up together, lots of service history etc. How you checked the MOT history online? that might give you an insight on condition.

Lovely car.....

Yeah I was wondering that!

No reg available to check anything.

Sorry about that 😬

Probably a scam given that the car is not listed on the original web site, the phone number is a mobile not the same as the claimed seller and same for the email address.

Oh and that the car listed is the exact same as.....

I wondered that: the 'language" of the description sounded like the Collecting Cars style.
Another potential giveaway is that every vehicle in the traders listings is photographed in a different place.
Scammers appear to be taking over the World.....

So is the scam that you pay a deposit or buy the car but there turns out to be no car ?

Possibly 'just' a scam, but not necessarily fraud.

My guess is that it's a trader, and when you call them you'll be told that this one isn't available for whatever reason, but can they interest you instead in another vehicle etc - estate agents used to do this ages ago.

Nice worked example of a fraud.

Plenty of obvious tells. Caveat Ebayer.

(Although anyone thinking about buying a cheap high performance car with uncertain mileage, provenance, and service history needs.... to pause)

Just shows how easy it is to be taken in by these things though.
Cravat Emptor as a friend of mine used to say.

Yeah agree! Tbh, I was just browsing so didn't really think/look in detail... But should have realised from the price alone!

I might not be the brightest in the world.....but I do struggle to believe that anyone would fall for these car scams. But they must do or they would not waste their time doing it. Be careful out there!

A few years ago my car appeared for sale on eBay. Fortunately another MBClub member spotted it and told me. I've no idea what the scam was about, but I reported it and it was taken down within a couple of days. BTW, the only place online that I had posted the picture was here!
