I've been quoted £470 including vat for the following on my E320 CDI W210

Supply and fit 6 glow plugs,
Supply and fit exchange injector (Bosch)
Fit thermostat (I'll supply) and fresh coolant,
Star Diagnostic Check

Is that a good price?

Seems reasonable to me,main dealer would almost certainly be a lot more.

About right id say...

Injector approx £130, fitting say £50, Thermostat labour, £50, Coolant??, Diganostic, £50, Glow Plugs Fitted £130-150 ish

All booked in for Monday now at MB Centre Nottingham, seem like a nice bunch so fingers crossed!!

Cant you DIY?

Apart from the star bit the rest is easy, with assurance jobs a goodun.

Euro carparts would supply the parts cheaply and you get a discount.

I have thought about DIY however I understand to avoid blow by on the injector it's best to reseat them by removing a small amount of metal where the injector sits?

Going forwards I will look at the rest DIY, brakes, fluids etc... This one just needs to be done in one day as I need the car for work
