Hi Spike,

That's an original Evolution II.

Not a member's car from on here - but I do know of the car.

All I remember was seeing it for sale about 5 or so years ago (£40k?). It would've been unused for 6-7 years from new, and then registered on a 'P' plate.

Where abouts was that? A very, very rare sight on UK roads - I've never seen one being driven :o

Actually, that's the M25 clockwise isn't it, Heathrow stretch? (or somewhere nearby, that fencing looks familiar! ;) )

Are you sure that's a genuine one? Seems to be sitting too high, look at the gap between the wheel and the arch.

You can raise and lower the suspension ride height from inside the car, it has fully adjustable front and rear SLS :)

And that is a genuine one :bannana:

I've seen that car in Leatherhead & the surrounding area several times. As Will says, it's the real McCoy.

Genuinely astounded at your familiarity with fences! :D

Nice to see one in action, and weird to see one on a P plate. Would've though the motorway is the sort of place you'd want to lower the suspension?

Geek alert! :D You are absolutely spot on.

It was a left hooker (were there any rhd ones?) with a guy driving it in his 30's I guess. .. driving it like a nun I might add.

They're all LHD BTW.

That car comes from just round the corner to me. I know a neighbour of the owner and she thinks it is a rather crude body kitted old Merc which lowers the tone a little! (They are new Audi/VW people so they don't understand old Mercs )
She hasn't said what she thinks of my E36 AMG.

what a beautiful car. will have one some day. just need to save/ i had a 2.3 cosworth but the evo kit is lovely. future ££££££££££££ classic

what a beauty
