Hmmm, a bit too suspiciosly cheap indeed. Sounds almost too good to be true

No it's all above board. All you need to do is send a 50% deposit by Western Union...

I've seen more and more adverts like this on Autotrader recently. Mostly they are blindingly obvious, like saying they are out of the country and please leave a message on a mobile etc.

Ask yourself a question - this car is being advertised for £10,000 below book price.

Anyone who seriously wanted to sell this car quickly could drive it into a dealer and he would give you that sort of money for it there and then. There is no point in advertising it.

Of course it's a scam....designed to make you drool ... :eek::eek:

Hi,
As you've seen in the ad the price is £9000 the car is a 2003 Mercedes E55 AMG, with 54,000 miles on the clock, excellent condition, accident free, has no damage, no scratches. It is an UK car (not an import), under UK number plates and it has full UK spec. I have moved in Spain with my family and took it with me, but this shouldn't be a problem as I can have the car delivered back to the UK. I am selling because it's pretty difficult to drive a RHD around here. Email me back if you need more details.
Regards,

update: what a con, ive asked to see the car in its flesh:- ;)

Hello again,
In order to secure the delivery of the vehicle I've applied for the services of a local freight company that will handle the delivery. The car is now at their warehouse and has been inspected by them before being accepted for shipping. Let me know if interested to go ahead and I will give you the shipping's company details to get in touch with them.
Regards
