Is this how fast a c36 really is?

Anyone got a c36, or can tell me this is modded in some way?

Didn't think it was exceptionally. 100km/h didn't come up that quickly, considering the driver appears to launch it from high revs, I presume standing on the brake.

I suppose not bad for the period of car, but doesn't seem to match your enthusiastic statement above.

If you time it, u will find it does it in 5 seconds(or slightly less), which is about the same time as the c32 (which has a similar sized engine, + its supercharged), hence matching my statement above

C43 time is officially "5.7" secs, thats why i'm wondering

Reading the blurb to the right of the video , either it is a modded C36 or they have got themselves mixed up and it is a C43 ....

C36 has 276 bhp
C43 has 306 bhp

The video states that it has 306 , so somethings wrong somewhere ...

Thats a V8 so has to be the C43..

Doesn't sound like a V8 to me to be honest... but ur right, could've been down a slope. And when timing these videos you can just hold a stopwatch (on your phone or whatever) and start it when u see his speedo needle moving... then stop it when it hits 100... thats how i do it anyway

Think they've got their wires crossed ....

I've got ivory dials, with a big ! in the middle of one dial. No controls on bottom edge.

I'd say that dash looks older than mine, so could be a C36 although could be messed about with. Haven't got sound on my works PC so can't listen to it.

Redline on RPM counter is different - my C43 redlines at 6200rpm, that redlines at 6500rpm approx.

Yeah, when I timed it this morning, I got between 4.7 and 5.1.

A big steep hill or speeded up video me thinks !

Well spotted was about to suggest the same the cluster is from a very early W202 C36 AMG, the C43 AMG cluster had ivory clocks and dials similar to the facelift Sport models but without the AMG logo.
