Hi All,
My new Merc W212 is arriving Monday, very excited as this is my first Merc having jus moved away from Jags. As thecar is on contract hire, I cannot make any mods to the vehicle, however I am planning to install the Alpine EZI DAB (same as Pure 300Di) to the car. To avoid cutting into any 12v feeds etc, I am planning to run the ISO power pin outs from the EZI DAB harness into a male 12v cigarette adapter, which will then connect the EZI DAB unit in the centre storage compartment.
My rather silly NOOB type question is, which of the following ISO pin outs should I actually solder to the male 12v cigaratte adapter?
ISO connector pins
Pin Function Colour
1 Mute 1 (with crimp) White
2 Mute 2 (with crimp) Orange
3 Mute 3 (with crimp) Blue
4 12V Switched ignition (with series fuse holder) Red
5 Not used Green
6 Cabin illumination Brown
7 12V Permanted battery supply (with series fuse
holder) Yellow
8 Ground Black
Big thanks to all in advance.
James
