Issues with MB Colchester

Well finally got around to visiting MB Colchester yesterday where the car was put onto a ramp and I was taken underneath. The leading tech showed very slight movement on the driver side spring link and said he probably wouldn't have mentioned it but according to MB guidelines, any play in any suspension component should be noted. Both he and the service manager agreed it should have not have been flagged - "requires immediate attention". They also could not find any issues with the front drop links and could not say why they were noted down as amber. They looked at the magic wipers which I paid £120 on my very first visit for them to fix - the left wiper fluid not feeding through, even with the recommended change of wiper blades at my own cost.

Long shot is they were both very apologetic and understood why I questioned the repair to the A/C if it actually needed a new compressor, which they "assured" me it did - all parts are sent back to MB and they then check the part - especially as there was £1100 of MB goodwill contribution.
They understood why I had lost confidence in using them in the future as I was considering a service plan.
The manager offered a discount on the service plan should I decide to proceed and they will rectify the issue with the magic wipers at no cost to myself.
At least I would hope that, if I do take my car there in future, they will probably go over and above to make sure things are actually done correctly as the tech/SM can see I am clearly clued up on some things.
I'll await their offer before I proceed - my next service is an A @85K/ 8yrs, B@101K/9yrs and then A@117K/11yrs. next service is due in 8K, everything is up date inc ATF

I intend to keep this car for a while.

^ I wouldn't consider a service plan until a B service is due. Then get a 3 year B/A/B with associated time/mileage jobs included.

Can you effing believe it! MB Colchester fixed the left washer today, working as it should. On collection the A/C is not working. To say I'm cheesed off is an understatement.
Are there any A/C components that could have been broken/dislodged in the vicinity of the washer pipework?
I've emailed the service manager to state I will not be paying as this happened during their care.
I did sign up for a service plan before I collected the car too!

Is the A/C not working at all or does it need a recharge ? Because it’s so hot down in Essex it might just feel that it isn’t working fully ??

The compressor and 2 pipes were replaced in May (£3800) and it has been working fine in this weather - was working when I dropped off car this morning.

Well, today when the technician checked it was working fine and gas pressure was good. They tried it a few times and it was working with no fault found! I'll keep my fingers crossed it was just a gremlin
