So I'm having a walk around my holiday destination of Paington, far away from thoughts of the next project and then this appears.

Luckily it's just too far away - phew .

At least the fire was put out before total destruction .

I wonder if it was a hotel. Hotels and fires seem to go well together.

No need to go so far to find places like that, just have a wander up Hagley Road.

It would great to return it to a lovely family home

It's Paignton - either a hotel or an old people's home.

Looking at property, posting on here, are you sure your'e on holiday John?

It's Paignton - either a hotel or an old people's home.

Certainly commercial in recent times - look a the extraction running up the right hand side.

Unfortunately it's not showing up on the agent's website.

It's a good sized plot, described as a development opportunity, freehold site - but I just like the property, regardless.

You can not beat old properties. But I am of the opinion that one has gone to far to be restored to its former glory. Beautiful chimneys. Shame about the roof tiles they are to modern for the period. How is that red sand in Paignton.

There's another on the esplanade which has been empty for years, as it was a casualty of the development behind.

John, you'd love Seafield House in Westward Ho! It looks derelict but it is still lived in. The brambles has completely consumed a car and boat. It must have been incredible in it's prime:

WESTWARDHO! HISTORY.
