It is with deep regret....

To be fair if you've test driven the range rover you'd never buy a landcruiser or cayenne.. The only problem being is once you're happy with the rr everything else is a come down
Tell me about it! Got rid of my Rangie a few months ago, I didn't want to but was offered £2K more than what I paid for it and that was after owning it for 18 months! The V8 ones are superb and for something that weighs 3.5 tonnes, it didn't half pick its feet up!

But if you've owned a RR for off-road use then I bet you'd buy a Toyota next time..
I've had 2 RR, do a fair bit of off road 'work' and the best thing I ever done was to buy my Invincible.

To be honest on my first rr I put 18" wheels and off road tyres on along with the obligatory a-bars.. there wasn't anywhere it wouldn't go. on the later ones i've always had 22" alloys but even then i've never been stuck!

Not knocking toyota, but I wouldn't spend my own money on one & a landcruiser will never be in the same league as a range rover.. sorry :D

Wasn't expecting that.....
The seller of the Range Rover has just sold it for cash to someone else!!!!!!!:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:
Partly my own fault for not giving him a deposit :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:
What a fantastic way to end a weekend....

Damn - Sweetpea - Sorry to hear that. Bad luck but you said it - should've given a deposit at least.

Never mind though - Plenty more out there to pick from. Lots of folks are moving away from them now as "Big" cars are "Bad" for the environment (but we won't get back into that one.)

I'm on my 3rd RR now. Albeit the P38 4.6 V8 but they are such a great vehicle to be in and drive. I'll be looking to swap very soon for the same as your choice.

Anyhow - Chin up... Keep looking. The next one will be a better one..!

I guess in the sellers position depending how you left it, no deposit means its still for sale.

Gutted though as I guess you had already thought about it parked on the drive :(

As above though there will be more :)

(Don't want a nice ML do you) :) :)

Did Gina on this forum every sell her RR. I think she was on about selling it at one time, but its still on her signature block.
Might be a good one for you there sweetpea. Her cars are very well kept and always clean.

But do you know something? The deal just didn't seem right, if I'm being honest, so maybe it was for the best:dk:
At first he wanted £4k and mine which was a non-starter and I got him to £1500 and mine- a deal which I was more than happy with.
He rang at 7 o clock and told me that he had just sold it for £11k. Cash.

You could always get yourself a nice SLK instead...

Blue lights and sirons?? was it a police car whats that all about.

Did it have a glass roof or is that HSE's ?

You WILL find another one and better :) :)

24/7 video recorder built in?

also its in the boot right in the way? in a car that big that could have been fitted / hidden elsewhere.

Was it ex police or VIP car or something, has to be some story why it has that kit....

I think now indirectly you have done the right thing.

PS, my car seats 5 kids :)

You should start looking at V8's! :D

Good thing it was gone. Don't know much about Rangies, but if I was in a market to get one, it would certainly be the Sport model, not Vogue...

^ for 11K..... doubt it :)

Vogue HSE is the Daddy

obvioulsy TDv8 even better but a budget is a budget :)

2004 Silver E320 Cdi Avantgarde, 92k, FSH, Panoramic Roof, Heated Full Electric Memory Seats, Parking Sensors, Unmarked Upgrade 17" Alloys, 6 CD Changer MOT January/ 11 Months Tax Etc... It is in near Mint condition. I am after £9.5k-10k, which is strong money, but there aren't many with this spec/mileage/condition about. :thumb:
