items ordered from www.mercedes-benz-parts.co.uk/inchcape

Inchcape are pretty good, always been spot on for me when i havent had time to goto my local stealers

Another vote for Inchape!

My local dealer (Heathrow) has two guys at the parts desk, and elderly Indian/Sikh who is extremely helpful and a young chap who's driven me away!

Inchape are always helpful on the phone, and have found "interesting" parts that other dealers say don't exist (e.g. the little star badges you can stick on your keys, or the door lock clips)

M.

I too have used inchcape a few times and had no problems. Delivery is quick if item is in stock and I think if order value is over a certain amount, delivery is free.
I believe items are sourced from Milton Keynes and sent to MB of Oxford before being dispatched to customer. Would be better if sent straight from MK to customer but still a very good service (in my experience).

I've used inchcape a couple of times and cannot fault them.

I have been told by the guys at my local dealer (Hughes of Beaconsfield), if requiring any hard to find parts on a older Merc (over 15 years), Jacksons of Poole is the M-B dealer to contact as M-B in Germany send any parts that are about to discontinued or have been discontinued to them, & they stockpile them in their classic car inventory.

my main concern is that part numbers are are valid on the official subscribed EPC and are listed on the inchcape site with prices, my main dealer reckons the part numbers dont exist.

I had that problem with my local dealer as well ("we only stock mercedes parts and they all begin with an A, no parts behing with HWA, sorry").

I ordered all parts for my recent service, everythign was spot on, branded parts from MB. Delivery took a little bit longer than I expected (6 days) and they also wanted IBAN payment (obviously some people from ireland have been doing dodgy deals) with credit cards).

I always use Jackson's of Poole, and ask for Mervyn Wright. He seems to be able to get parts not available at other dealers, and delivers quickly. Can't fault him really.
