    Unfortunately, given their username and the other tat that's on their listings, I fear they are deadly serious.

    Still, if people will pay good money for any old sh*t, it's their own fault.

    There's loads on ebay - it's not the drum, it's the price that's laughable.

    Though I did think the one described as Sloan Chic was pushing the boat out a bit :D.

    There are a couple of coffee shops near me that use them as tables. Varnished and the bolts painted with hammerite

    Actually, the original "Sloan Chic" one I saw was in the patio furniture section.

    You guys just don't get it! If you had bothered to read the article in its entirety, you would realise its not just an ordinary used cable drum like thousands of others, what makes this unique and hugely more desirable, is the fact that it has not only been sanded down, it's had metal banding applied to the edges!! Think of it more like a sculpture
