My wife's renewal invitation for her A class arrived in the post today.
It was only a few pounds more than last year so she was happy to let it renew.
I had some spare time, so I thought I would just run a quote through Compare the Market. Guess what, same company popped up 15% cheaper.
Clicked through to the company's website and adjusted the options to be identical - still 10% less. Started a webchat with the company's agent and asked if there was any problem with taking the new quote. He said, no problem, he would cancel the renewal and I could sign up to the new quote.
So I did. Not a vast amount saved, but why spend more than is necessary?
