In regards to modding ones car, In the first instance with my ongoing Brabus brake kit up grade to my E55, its been a 7 day nightmare, a long story, which I will post up at a completed stage, but hopefully, if everything as promised today, my car will be back in one piece c/w upgraded brake kit by Friday night, ready for an AMG experience day with Benjy and a couple of the other guys on Saturday.

Today my 'Savman' designed icebox turned up, and very lovely it looks. Big thanks again to Paul with his never ending help and advice here.

I then get a Email from Bruce at TTM in the U.S, he now has electrical power 15 days after 'hurricane sandy' and starting to process back orders, inc my fuel rail and upgraded injectors, so hopefully see them in the next few weeks.

Then another Email from Craig VMAX Williams confirming his attendance at the Charity Goodwood track that a few of us are going on at the end of November, so a little more company for us all on the day.

Further to this, I have a Renntech lowering module arrived and a Sc pulley on route, all for a spring time fitting followed by the must have remapping.

I did,nt feel like this a couple of days ago, but feeling very peaceful with my world right at this moment, thanks to Savman, Baldguy and Alx, for help and advice on the above, roll on Saturday, roll on 30th November Track day, and Roll on next spring time, looking forward to them all.

Look forward to seeing the culmination of your efforts on the 30th. Are you still planning to go down there on the Thursday?

Cheers

Holy Moley - there is no way on earth I will catch you with that lot bolted on!

Is the icebox for the champagne? I have one in the S Class and trust me it does not improve performance ;)

i don,t think so Marc, yesterday was looking good for weekend completion, get another call 4pm today, won't be ready till next week now, ugh! its been a long story, which has not ended yet.
Be interested should you get on the road with your set up, to how impressed you are with them over the AMG set up.

I should pick my wheels up in the morning , and testing in the afternoon .
It's then a big strip down at the weekend , supercharger off , exhaust manifolds and exhaust off , radiatour out , inter cooler out and front bumper and passenger front wing off .
Going on ,
Fab tech inter cooler and the custom bonet tank and custom killer chiller
Looped injector rail and bigger injectors
Asp 180 mm crank puly
Belt wrap kit
The custom twin throttle body kit
Only thing I'm not decided on is header , not seen any I really like the desighn of , what are you running ?
Starting a new thread on manifolds !!!

Kleemann.

Let me know your thoughts on the brakes when you get to trial them.

Marc, I see your name is not down for this potential 'German Marque' Vmax day in the spring, you likely to be coming to that event..?

I am currently waiting on some dates for cardio surgery , they will be around feb- march time . As soon as I get my dates I can confirm . It is an event I really want to do !!

Marc

Your options for RHD headers are pretty limited you won't go far wrong with Kleemann headers but they need a small modification to clear the steering arc. Nearly all the others are short type, I went with PLM headers which are very similar to Renntech shorties but wish I went with Kleemann ones now.

If your looking for something slightly different I have been in discussions with a company to design and fabricate a set of very high quality long tube headers that will fit RHD, if you are interested pm me and I can share the info with you.
