Its been a good day!

You will love the Renntech lowering module, get yourself an Android phone or small tablet then you can change it on the fly. Drive to Goodwood in comfort then adjust for the track and then return to standard for your return journey. I found -19mm and -16mm better than the Renntech standard which I think is -22mm and -19mm.

That Ice box will come into its own at Bruntingthorpe particularly as you floor it onto the main straight.

You will easily hit into 190's

Tested today !!!! My wheels still not arrived so used my original 18's on the back and a pair of 19" cls rims on the front !
I changed my brake fluid to 5.1 ESP and wow , never have I known a car stop so hard . Stability seems to be improved I think due to the six pot rear callipers and 360 mm disks . Feel is slightly improved but maybe down to the better spec brake fluid and s/steel brake lines . I thought the original brakes stopped well but these are in a different league !!!

I will try that out Paul when I get the kit Renntech fitted, thanks for that input, will be running out of trial time if Mb hold on to my car for much longer thou!

As Alps advised in next post, am blessed to have the remote as well, not that I currently know how to use it mind! so a little learning to do.
The Modifed Ice box (Got to sat=y it really is very well designed and built, and will be going on before ay Vmax that I enter into, and hoping you are right with the potential results, looks like its going to be fun.

You right mate, I have the remote as well, look forward to catching up with you for a decent chat at Goodwood Alps.

Wow Ricky, what a list! Yummy goodies you got there, congrats :)

What happened to the Brabus lowering module or it won't go as low as V2?

Hi Alx, as you suggest the V2 renntech unit is a little more adjustable than the Brabus unit, but you pay for wha you get in this field as you know.
The Brabus brake kit fitment, whilst hopefully fitted and the problems sorted this week, its all been rather a headache quite frankly. This said, I hope the end result will be worth it. I will post up the story when I get my keys and car back safely.

My new Ice box

A couple of photos of my new icebox, very similar to Savman's but with a couple of tweeks here and there.
I would like to just say that I have this box totally through the help and advice of Paul (Savman), this is primarily his own time and effort in design and at his cost, and he has also shared with me his thoughts on the minor tweeks that needed doing from the original concept. So big thanks again from me Paul, for this and all the other advice you have given me.

Looking good Ricky, I have to say I am really pleased I went with ProAlloy. The only ones I have seen come close are the ones from Daddy's in the US but even then I still preferred having a UK supplied and built one. I gained 3 mph terminal speed on the 1/4 with this and after increasing boost a little more I managed almost 7 mph just a week later. Just imagine what it will do for you at VMax!

Oh Jesus! Another one to fit !!!

All in a days work.... or three
