Well Guys I've gone and done it. Today I purchased a C180k sport 58 plate. Having drove the diesel and petrol I much preferred the more refined petrol. Car felt much more responsive and smoother than the diesel. The car is in silver which I feel sets the car off better than any other colour. Purchased it from Mercedes direct Birmingham so peace of mind comes with it. Hard work thou getting money of the screen price, but managed a bit plus the Merc paint guard package. Pick the car up Tuesday. :bannana::bannana:

Well done, Pete! I have to confess I'm not really a fan of silver, but if you are then that is all that matters. Enjoy your new motor!

We will, of course, need pictures when you pick her up... :thumb:

Silver is a good choice. Hides the dirt and is classic mb colour. Naturally I'm not biased

I too drove a petrol and a diesel before purchase. And like you, I picked the petrol - probably for the same reasons as you.
    You wont regret your choice.
The petrol is still remarkably economical.
Yesterday I drove up to North Norfolk and back averaging 48 mpg. Quite acceptable.
