I just love the W116, for me it is THE classic Benz that can be used often. I've had mine for 5 years now and just cherish the moments were out together. It's a car which still commands respect and, I fear, much more than the the newer models.

I just don't understand as to why they don't make cars like these any more....just stick some modern mechanics in them, but what fantastic body shapes !!!!!

Manufacturers really lost their way in the late 70s onwards when it came to constructing something that really appealed to the eye.
