Anyone using any of these rubber Jack Pad Adapters, I've seen them on ebay for £7.50 from the UK or £12 for a pair from Germany?
Would need 4 for a lift so perhaps £30 is a bit much but £24 doesn't seem too bad.

Was thinking they would be handy to stop any damage when lifting the vehicles up.

Don't know about on a full lift, but on a trolley jack a hockey puck has the desired effect.

All over the bay of dreams for a couple of quid each. :)

Where's Druk ???
He has all the answers for this. I'll text him but he's probably trying to revive a 747 in the Mojave Desert .

I adapted a trolley jack to accept the pad , used a couple of times with no issues.

That's exactly the kind of thing I looked at.
Looked like they would be well suited to the flat round/square pads on a lift.

Thanks, hadn't seen these ones.

They are a bit pricey but do look the business.

What shocks me more is where everyone has these "hockey putts" laying around. :D I've plenty of old fishing rods, golf clubs etc. but no hockey putts.

Pucks are available for around £1.00 - £2.00 each from the bay.

Never played hockey in my life. :D

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago. They only took a few days to arrive and I'm very pleased with them. They are made from a dense rubber compound and are a good fit in the slot. I use them the same way as in KennyN's photo.

I also use a Hockey puck as a jack pad , my problem is getting the jack under the jacking points with the AMG line style side skirts , at present I drive the front wheel up on a 20" length of scaffold board to give that little extra height required , this has been okay but am going to get a low profile jack to make the summer/winter wheel change easier , have found one for about £35 . :thumb:

been using these now for a couple of months come in very handy
