Jack?

Was hoovering out the boot and noticed that I do not have a jack or wheelbrace in my car?? I do have the foam, compressor and wheel nuts.

Does a 19 plate SL63 come with a jack???

The user manual seems very vague

Agree most vehicles don’t come with them
Partly cos the tyre inflator doesn’t require removal of the wheel

I wonder if it is cost saving (penny pinching) or health and safety won't let menials use complicated machinery such as a jack and wheelbrace

It's primarily weight saving to improve the car's emissions rating.

Sounds odd on an AMG, I agree, but that's what they do now on (almost) all new cars.
