Now everyone knows how to jack up a car but I'm stuck.
It says remove the plastic plug from the side of car and slide the jack in, simple.
Oh no, I just cannot remove the plus, I have tried levering them with a screw driver but there stuck, just will not budge.
In the end I got my trolley jack under the car but this will not help if I am miles away and have to change a wheel.
Am I doing it wrong or as the car is 22 years old is it just stuck in.

They are probably just stuck/welded in with road grime and gunk. Give them a good wiggle and pull harder.

I will try some WD40 tomorrow.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Mercedes sill jacking points. A favourite rust cultivation area.

When you give a really good heave, be prepared for the side of your car to fall off as you complete a parachute roll down your drive.

As I am off to Gatwick on Sunday I will take Pobody's suggestion.
I have not had time to have a go at getting the plugs out.
Thanks for all help, happy motoring even if it is on the M3.

I am going to Gatwick on Sunday, see you there.
