Jaguar XJ 220 - Stunning cond. with only 960 miles. Immaculate museum quality.

Nice, but seem to recall a comment by marque specialist Don Law saying a regularly exercised beast was a far better buy than these rarely run museum cars - some specific mechanical issues through non-use, can't remember what though

960 miles? Only another 40 until its first gearbox rebuild then...

Weren't most of these bought as investments and as such have never been used. I seem to remember one coming up for sale a few years ago with zero mileage and a much higher asking price. (Don't know if it sold though).

£195,000 plus shipping costs, including insurance and then 20% VAT on the total figure...... nah, too steep for me.

EBay???? Must be having problems selling it.

A few years ago, I was sitting behind one of these on a normal road for a few miles till it turned off.

They are really wide/large cars when in amongst normal traffic, very impressive.

not a massive fan,my choice for an early 90's supercar would be an eb110 bugatti!!!sweeet

Looks like new.

Notice the fire extinguisher? Wouldn't want to be around when anyone uses that!

I could never spend £200,000 on something with what looks like MK1 Mondeo rear tail lights.

I quite like the shape but nothing else about it really.

And what a fantastic "investment" this one has proved to be. It would have cost in excess of £400k 20 years ago, has never been properly used, has lost at least £200k in depreciation and will have cost a fortune to store and generally fuss over.

You'd have been better off sticking the money under the mattress.

You can have this one with less miles on it for free, if you can work out how to ship it back :D

There is a lad who lives near me, i think late teens or early 20's who drives around in one of these. Car still looks pretty mean. If he is not in that its the ferrari F430! Some life.
