Hi you knowledgeable lot, saw the new JPG perfume advert trying to find out what car is featured, looked at vid on youtube but cant make out badges etc. Anyone?

Citroën SM Opéra, which is a very rare beast indeed having an extra couple of doors.

Made by Chapron who are French coachbuilders.

I was in one of those today , MOT guys electrical guru was working on one. if it is the same model it has the Maserati V6 engine and was the car that broke Citroen in the early `70`s.

The AC compressor is the size of a small bike engine and it and the hydraulic pumps were driven via a driveshaft from between the V`s of the engine , there must have been around 1m from the front of the engine to the front of the car probably to make way for the front mounted gearbox.

What a gorgeous looking motor but to be fair my attention was elsewhere when the rear door opened.
