anybody here,from jersey??
we have jacksons garage over here,which are bmw and merc dealerships under one roof.
supposed to be the only dealership in the uk apart from guernsey with bmw and merc under one roof.
ALSO NO VAT EITHER.

come up,I its a new building near the airport,1 year old cost 5 million quid to build.I work at jacksons in the workshop.

bm's are nice but mercs are more refined and will last longer,amgs RULE. SL55 AMG DERISTRICTED very nice.
I own a golf rallye vr6 myself,can't afford a merc.

I am in Jersey at the moment.

Seems a lovely place from the little I have seen, but unfortunately I have been working too hard to visit.

From friday my work hours have been 18, 10, 17.5 and I am still going!

Overtime needed to pay insureance!

MBClub viewing has kept me sane and seeing a customers "Jacksons" key tag from his company BMW reminded me.

Work ran on, and we only just got to airport a few minutes after last check-in.


Went past your dealership on the way. Very impressive looking indeed.

Did you see the accident outside, about 5pm?

Hope nobody was hurt, as a Rover 100 (metro) had rear ended a G-Wagon.

The result is obvious. Broken metro, G-Wagon might need a polish.

Back in the MB tomorrow at least. Had to drive a Fiat Stilo to Airport in England which was just terrible and had a Mazda 323 for the return which was at least tolerable.

Is it 40 like Guernsey?

Arh the good old "rare" Golf Rallye, I've owned one of these in G60 form and also a G60 syncro 3dr Mk2 amongst loads of vdubs. The last Vdub project I did was a G60 in a MK2 Jetta, a real "Q" car.

Did you drop the VR in yourself??

Are you useing the 4 Motion gearbox to mate to the syncro drivetrain??

Just interested as I love the vdub G60 stable....

sped limit is 40mph but most places now are 30mph
yeah put the vr lump in myself with 4 motion gearbox,rd now with corrado dash,brembo calipers.
hoping to turbo it too.
sounds like a baby tvr going up the road
