JLW certified rims

Seen some rims that I really like in the US that are JLW certified but they are replicas. I have not seen originals rims like them.

Does anyone have an experience with JWL replica rims?
I have heard horror stories about replica rims and am wondering are they justified or just isolated cases.

As they are certified by Japan for safety purposes should think they would be okay. Pic would help. The warning i believe is to stay clear of AMG replica wheels.
