hi all, does any one how much it would cost to replace a EGR valve manifold on a 52 plate c220 diesel.

Why replace the EGR valve, just disable it and gain the benefits of not having it.

you'll probably have to mod the maf at that age though

hi there, to be honest i haven't got a clue about engines this is what the guy in the garage told me, its going to be pricey job by the sound of it, is it easy to disable it and what are the benefits of not having it ?

I disabled mine and got a plausibility error with the MAF and limp mode as a result, clever these electronic systems.
