MB replaced the shock absorbers on my W203 280 2006.

At low speeds (20 to 30) there is a judder through the steering.

At motorway speeds it's rock solid.

Checked tyre pressures and they are spot on, tyres seem fine with plenty of tread.

Is still got MB AUC warranty, any ideas please?

Thanks

At that speed, I would say wheel balancing - perhaps a weight fell off?

When I had similar symptoms it was a tyre that was no longer round due to damage. Go to your local tyre dealer and get them to check all tyres and as Mark suggests check the balance as well.

I had a very similar issue on my W203 more pronounced on bad road surfaces it turned out to be a combination of a drop link on its way out and excessive play in a wheel bearing both on the offside. When i bought the car it had a damaged rim on the same side I'm guessing it may have all been caused by a pot hole!!!

It is likely to be a worn suspension joint, bent rim or out of round tyre.

Jack the front up and check for play.
