Always good of you to put these events up here before they happen Dash.

Always good of you to put these events up here before they happen Dash.
I did post a couple of times before with no interest being shown

You've got a heart of gold dash and good on ya for leading the way with the 124 meets and things, somebody has to do that.

I am after a clip set for the inner, front side window seal; the clips that hold the seal to the door pressing. Don't suppose you have a secret stash or a wrecker I should be making enquirers with do you dash?? They are NLA via Daimler as are the seals themselves.

The car with the gold wheels do they have any issues with bump steer, tyre wear or going straight when the steering wheel is let go on a straight road by any chance...?? Feedback of this nature would be very valuable to me....

Send me a picture of the seal you refer please. Is it A124 specific??
Of course they gonna have issues running stretched tyres and camber but I guess that's what he likes

Oh yes of course the owner can have his car the way he likes it, I wasn't commenting on that it is just that I have lowered a wee bit and I am running into problem, just trying to figure if the issue is ride height related or not. I suspect not but very handy to be able to confirm.

Give me a minute and I see if I can get a piccie thanks very much, W.

Clips may be the same as all 124, 129, 202, 140??

Seal is almost certainly unique to A and possibly C124 bodies.

The clip looks similar,I'm assuming it's the one for the seal inside the door card
I'll pop into the garage some point this week and see if I have any

As for the lowering, how low did you go??Both my cars are lowered but not slammed like that coupe and I've no issues

About 1/2" to 3/4" max.

Sorry dash, the seal is the OUTER, front, side window seal. I'm tired and I'm really sorry I put you crook. It sits under a black anodized Al rail, together they form the seal that you see on the outside of the windows that roll up and down for the front seat passenger and driver.
