Sign of the times really.

I used to work with a guy (ex-Rhodesian army) who was a bit of a nutter albeit his heart was in the right place so wasn't a bad egg as such.

Some of the stories he told me of what went on in his local pub and ones he visited not that long ago were unbelievable (mainly involving fights and violence).

Saying that, in all the years I went to pubs in the evening in various places in the UK, I don't think I ever saw anything like that inside or out.
