Check the front suspension as they are a weak point. They knock and bang over bumps.

Nice one. Its a 203 I take it?

What happened to the V8 dream?
oh its for my woman she was after 202s and she stumbled across it
so now thats a 210 208 202 and a 203 in my benz only household if all goes well next year the 208 (my least fave) and 202 will go and il replace them both with a V8 and its not a dream lol

ok thanks will do. same a a 210 really.

Pictures?
as i said in first post mate get it wednesday so il take pics then ;)

Tip, remember that when parked up the only part that is visible is the bonnet star !
I've been parking my cars in the same place over the last 25 years without trouble, but in the less than 2 years that I've had the C240 it has :-
Had the bonnet star removed twice and been crashed into twice !

Bo11ocks - Today I was in a car park and it has been hit again !
It really must be invisible - thankfully little damage done, just a smal crack in the front valance

i think you have bad luck mate.. is yours stock hows the ride

The car is not modified in any way, and the ride is fine in any situation. It dawdles in traffic, cruises on the motorway and is enjoyable on the B roads of Sussex (and anywhere else that I take it). Even though I have a slipped intervertebral disc I have driven it over 650 miles in a day.

For all its faults, I liked my 203. Comfortable, agile and frugal (I had the 270 CDi) - I do miss it!!

a lot of people miss their c classes which ever model after they sell them... i really miss mine to be honest. a c180 202. miss it all the time ;)

picked the car up today, drove it back from Birmingham no rattles or jolts no knocking sounds drove lovely, really please 60k on the clock heres a few picks from me X10

it also has a full MB service history loads of recipts mots ect. has some Stock mb 16" (they will be straight off with tires if anybody wants them pm me ;) )

all for £2500

overall im impressed with the ride of it handling was fine great car its gonna be for the misses shes been after a 202 but see this and fell in love with it. cant blame here its fully stocked with full tan and thats what she wanted lol

lovely :thumb:

just had it cleaned and stuff will be taking some pics with the 500d soon.

after driving today i can say its a lot more cramped than the 210 feels more solid than my 208 and is overall a very decent car, the door armrest is in perfect postiton its great.. wish my 210 had a similar arm rest position

Glad your pleased with it, the first drive in a new car can be a bit clenching as you listen for this and that though sounds like you've picked a good un. Better pics would be good.

37.7 mpg - you have better control of the noisy pedal than I do.
The 2.6 L V6 really is a lovely engine.

ok so here is some pictures angela(my other half) absolutely loves it ( and i loved the price lol) so what we have resolved here is that 203s can be a smooth and luxurious car (with a V6) they can be fully loaded, birmingham is a hole (no offence but it is its worse than london for congestion) and im going to try my best to stay away lol but 3/4 of my cars have come from up north, them boys know how to buy quality cars :thumb:

still over the moon with the car. still cant get over the price. no plans i have some AMG 2 piece reps im gonna sling on and lower it and that should be it for the look, come to think of it, its in dire need of a tint.

so what do you think of the car then

Nice looking car and good options - electric memory seats and steering too!. I had a C320 before moving on to the C32 and your right the V6 is a lovely engine. They do have a luxurious feel to them even for a smaller car. My children are getting bigger and an E would be a better size but I like the C.
