Just fitted Comand.....

After fitting Comand to my 05 plate C Class, I have noticed in one menu you can pair with bluetooth devices, and I have paired with my phone. What is the purpose in this?

I have phone prep in my car but no cradle as of yet, is the bluetooth something to do with this? I thought the only way of getting bluetooth was to buy a bluetooth module for the arm rest.

Its for pairing the phone system with a bluetooth headset for privacy - it never worked well or was documented well, and in fact theyve dropped the facility in 2006 sometime.
