Just humour me for a minute...

But there's so many cars and so little time...

Spot on mate. Just posted on another thread that an old mate of mine died suddenly at the weekend . makes you think. ( Sodit, i will keep the SL another year or two and stay young).:bannana:

You mention the C32 and ML63 - why wouldn't you just get both now?? :thumb:

It would be the pinnacle of your car ownership!!

Seriously, whilst the ML420 is a great car, if it's the ML63 you want then why not get that? If you plan to do a lot of towing or have an aversion to AMGs then I could maybe see the logic.

I'll have to have a go in yours, see what all the fuss is about!

The ML63 will more than likely come after the 420 CDi, I just want to own one for a few months to experience a twin-turbo V8 diesel.

I favour an estate AMG this time, I was trying to find a W202 C43 estate but they're a tiny bit rare in comparison to the saloon. The S203 C32 is not that uncommon, do I should hopefully get more joy with them.

Edit; just remembered that you've got both of these cars!

Thought you might of kept the pair of 202s a little longer, though I will say I like the idea of the diesel V8.
If you are going for owning every C class AMG incarnation, don,t forget the C27, IF you can find one.

I'll happily take you for a spin either car.

But not the ML270. That's the best car in the world. It has 2.7 litres, 5 cylinders and 4WD, so depending upon which measure you choose then it's 22%, 25% or even 100% better than the next best car in the world!! :D

I don't think the c27 amg even existed, I'm sure there is a thread on here that says it was never made. I may be wrong but would love to know either way. :thumb:

It did occur to me about the W203 C30 AMG, but I think I'll stick to UK cars otherwise I'll never get through the list!

get several C43's for starters they will sell like hot cakes;)
tidy ones mind:cool:

The C27 actually became the C30 - it had a 3.0 5 pot turbo diesel.

See here..

^ any idea where that road is? I'm guessing it's not the Bathgate Hills.

.

go the 55 route (either w202 or w203)

The C32's are very quick if you can manage to get the power down on launch, it's mid and high speed where they start to lose out to a V8. Nothing wrong with a supercharged V6 though :-)

That's what I was getting at - is there much of a difference...

Clearly there is.

If it ain't a V8, it ain't great.
