Just joined up

Hello all, I am a longish term Mercedes owner of 8 years, currently own a 2007 220Cdi E class . Bought it with 9k miles at 11 months old and it is currently on 283k with very few issues and still running well. I run my own chauffeur business hence the mileage.

This is my 3rd high miles Merc, all of them have been exceptionally reliable, can't imagine myself driving any other make now.

Thought it was about time I signed up here.

My previous E220 was still running strong at 320k miles and I only changed because I got a very good deal on the new car. I put it down to maintaining a strict service regime, all at main dealers, and the fact that most of my mileage is motorway driving, something it's very good at.

There must be people on here with higher mileage cars than mine ?

Will probably be changing later this year but not totally sold on the new E class yet. I need to be convinced it's as good as the old model.
