It's hard to value them - a few moments think that black low Miler is about 6-7k over priced - bearing in mind £20k can buy you a reasonable c63 now if you hunt hard enough

I'm in talks with a forum member over a c55 currently as I've always loved them too

Dare I say it, but don't discount the E500 5.5 W207 if you're looking at coupes. It's a very good car for way under 20k.

Go and drive one, is my advice as an ex-owner.

Bought and thereafter sold my 59 plate for £16000.

Most seem way overpriced to me; one particular low mileage 2009 car is for sale at £19995 on Autotrader and was for sale at that same price when I bought mine, back in January!

When I sold mine a month ago there was also another one for sale privately for £15795.

It looks like OP has bought a C55 now, great choice!

Its apparently a Merc thing, they work just fine when pressed on. Im on CLk63 brakes all round on mine, so not stock, but did kinda thing stock brakes weren't amazing. They were pretty worn though......

Think Aqua's is the one with the 19" split rims and rear diffuser, really nice I would of gone and looked at it, had Joe's old car not come up for sale when I was looking hehe. Good luck with it, it looks a cracker.

Hope you find a nice car Lenny, whats your budget? There seems to be quite a few C55's on ebay.
