i have searched all over google trying to find information on this control module but i cant find any info on which relay works what exactly?

i have included a picture of my K40 module out of my pre-facelift w210

the picture i included has 5 relays but one of them does not function when i turn my car to the start position. i wrote another thread earlier about the car not starting (no crank) and this could be the cause.

does anyone know?

A Google search revealed this diagram:

http://www.w124performance.com/docs/mb/W210/K40_wiring_diagram.pdf

Think its indicating its the k9 relay which appears to give battery power to the ECU.

Other searches found mentions of many configuration variations depending on models and features, so it may be best to post up your VIN, so I (or anyone else with WIS) can get a more precise config diagram.

And what is common for all K40 modules; purple wire is trigger/enable voltage for starter
