Mercedes sprinter 316
Hi
Can anyone tell me please what type of 'button' batteries are used in the remote key fob for my 2004 Mercedes Sprinter 316 Camper van, I have the key but there are no old batteries in it. In the hand book it shows 2 batteries that are Panasonic and it looks like they are CR20** but I can't make out the last two digits.
I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks

Can't help specifically with the Sprinter key, but the most common batteries of that size are CR2016, CR2025, and CR2032. The 20 refers to 20mm diameter, and 16 means 1.6mm thick, 2025 is 2.5mm and 2032 is 3.2 mm thick.

In Poundland you can get a card with 2 x 2016, 2 x 2025 and 4 x 2032 for... a pound. Actually cheaper than chips, or at least round here..

Cheers,

Gaz

Normally 2032 IIRC....

Bought a strip of five for 99p delivered from an eBay UK seller last week.
The Reno fobs are low and they are even 2032 in my lads toy storybooks :)
