I have a 2005 CLS with keyless entry. At the moment, both the drivers and front passenger doors won't open on the keyless system. The two rear doors and the boot work fine. If it it was just one front door I would think it was a problem with the sensor in the lock but this is happening with both front doors. Has anybody any ideas on this problem? Thanks

Are the front and back handles interchangeable because you don't really need them on the rear doors, just the drivers door, and is it a big job to change them?

You can check if it is the sensor or the handle by swapping the rear handles to the front. IIRC each handle (colour coded) costs around £117 from dealer. Quite easy to remove the front handles, but not sure about the rear ones

Very easy to remove and change. German ebay had quite a few on their recently.
