Can keyless go be transplanted from an S600 into a W202?

Anything is possible with regards to electronics if you know what you're doing.

I can imagine it's possible as Clifford have done a remote start module as part of their alarm systems for years. The principle of the S600 system is very similar except the transponder key transmits all the time and only completes the circuit when you're in the vicinity of the car.

I would say that the aftermarket versions of keyless go are the best way to go rather than transplanting it from another car.Most probable is that its connected to a 1000 other gadgets in the car including the ECU.
