Hi,
I recently changed the batteries in my keyless go card as i kept getting the message saying 'check chip card battery'. The car still opened and started exactly as it should but i thought i should change it as the previous owner mentioned the message had been coming up for a month or so.
Since i changed the batteries its definitely more responsive and i've tested the keyless card as per the handbook and it lights up as it should, however i still get the message on the dash saying 'check chip card battery' and i don't know why??
Can anyone help? Car going into Mercedes soon so hopefully they should be able to resolve it, maybe its just a case of resetting the message on the dash??
